Tina Lindsay

Tina's association with Happy Valley Calisthenics started nearly 40 years ago, when she would bring her god-daughter to lessons.  Her talent was quickly recognised, and she was asked to take the position of coach, and then took over the reigns as Club Owner.

All these years later the Club still holds true it’s strong and passionate values.

Being a successful Calisthenics competitor herself, Tina always loved the sport and has been heavily involved since a young age. Tina was a part of the very first South Australian state team and continued to travel to Ballarat competing with her teammates for many years after.

Also trained in Ballet, Jazz and Tap, Tina was also a part of the Channel 9 ‘Mickey Mouse Club’ TV show dance team.  This is where the ‘Happy Valley Calisthenics Club Dance move' originated and is still used today.

Tina's outstanding coaching skills and creative ideas are an asset to the Club.  She is also a qualified and very talented hairdresser, so Happy Valley Calisthenics girls always have immaculate hair for every competition or performance!
